Once again this year, the Ambrose Mock Trial Teams (Varsity and JV) advanced from regionals to state, and then into the final 4. The Ambrose A team bested Kimberly High School and Centennial High School at state to advance into the semi-finals as the first seed. Ambrose B bested Lewiston High School and lost to Logos School’s B team, but earned enough points to enter the final 4. The state’s two largest Classical Christian Schools, Logos School of Moscow, and The Ambrose School of Boise earned all 4 semi-final positions. Our A team bested our B team, to earn a the championship opportunity. Ambrose lost to Logos in the State championships. But, the story does not end there.
The coaches of the two teams had arranged for a social event between the two schools after last year resulted in a similar match-up. The students, after two days of intense competition joined together for an evening of fun, including a mystery dinner, swing dancing, and ultimate Frisbee. We look forward to another opportunity to best our rivals, Logos School, next year. This year, we wish them the best in their quest for the National Title on May 14th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We believe this is Logos School’s 12th State title. Go Logos!
