6th grade students at The Ambrose School study American History. One of their practices is to memorize Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. What better audience for this activity than the annual Lincoln Day Dinner sponsored by the Ada County Republicans? The Dinner this year was held at the Boise Center on the Grove. Over 1000 were in attendance, including the Idaho State Governor and many state politicians. Hillsdale professor Burton W Folsom spoke about the presidency of Calvin Coolidge. The students recieved a standing ovation for their oration. We hope Lincoln would have been proud.
